Men's Shed Labrador can be your Shed too.

Backyard sheds hold an important place in the Australian psyche, but many blokes may lose their beloved shed in later life due to lifestyle changes.

This void has now been filled by community-based men's sheds such as ours where men can pursue their workshop interests with like-minded blokes for company.

The Shed offers the opportunity for men to learn new skills and contribute to Shed projects. This could be helping with a mate's personal one or a community project.

When you come along, you will find some members working on their own projects, others working on stuff we sell, like cutting boards or bird nesting boxes, toys for charities and various pieces to support our local community services etc.

We are open every morning except Sunday and some public holidays. Activities kick-off at seven o’clock and if you come on a Monday you will see sparks flying, as our metal workers build barbecues from old gas bottles, for Pacific Island people.

On Tuesdays, you will find our wood turners at work and we have a great stock of exotic seasoned timbers available for them.

On Wednesdays we have some wood carvers at work using our new CNC machine.

For the rest of the week our members will be working on various projects, depending on what is on order at the time and on any day there may be some members constructing their own personal projects. Help? Yes, members can get advice from our Shed Captains, one of whom is in charge each day, or any of our expert Assessors and other members.
